POOR PEOPLES ENCAMPMENT IS OPENING IN TAMPA, CALLED "ROMNEYVILLE"
Hello Everyone, we have the Land secured for the Poor Peoples Encampment to be called "Romneyville", in the Spirit of the "Hoovervilles" of the 1930s. We invite people all over, especially the Poor, Unemployed, and the Homeless to join us as we build up to be a very visible face of Poverty in United States and around the World to the World. We are doing this to bring to the forefront of the Nature of Poverty, as well as Race and Class, to the World. Our demands are HOUSING FOR ALL, FOOD FOR ALL, HEALTHCARE FOR ALL, AND LIVING WAGE JOBS FOR ALL!!!! WE CALL FOR AN END TO FORECLOSURES AND HOMELESSNESS, AN END TO THE WAR ON THE POOR, BOTH HERE AND ABROAD. AN END TO CRIMINALIZATION OF POVERTY. MONEY FOR JOBS AND HOUSING, NOT FOR WAR!!
