People of all ages are welcome to visit the Lay Community of St Benedict website, (as linked from the LCSB group) for information on retreats and similar activities that we look after here in England and Wales.   See http://www.laybenedictines.org/html/calendar.html

As a dispersed lay Benedictine community we are also associated with Worth Abbey's Open Cloister, which also has regular retreats and other activities.  See http://www.worthabbey.net/cloister/index.html  .

We are also in partnership with 5th Gospel Retreats in the Holy Land,  which is run by one of our members  - details at http://5thgospelretreats.co.uk/index  .  As the website says  -  Five gospels record the life of Jesus.  Four you will find in books, and one you will find in the Land they call Holy. Read the Fifth Gospel and the world of the Four will open to you.

Retreats are made up of parish and other groups going to the Holy Land to experience the 5th Gospel in a gentle and reflective manner, meeting and praying with the Christian Community in Palestine and Israel: allowing pilgrims to explore for themselves the relevance of Christ's message to the world.

Although Roman Catholic based, the Lay Community of St Benedict and 5th Gospel Retreats are ecumenical and all Christians are offered Benedictine hospitality within our activities.  The Open Cloister at Worth Abbey, Sussex, similarly welcomes Christians of all denominations.
