Go for it, live life to the full, that's what God made you for.

Good to meet you, Mark, even if only electronically. Since Ning seems to be under threat at the moment, I'd like to invite you to join the Christianity and Society forum, so that we don't lose touch in Ning folds. It's a bit wider than New Monasticism, but discussion of NM is also welcome there.
Hello there Mark and thanks for inviting me to be your friend. I am totally new to this form of communication and so, managed to put in this huge photo, where I expected a thumbnail. Sorry about that but am looking forward to developments in this group.
Hi Mark- very behind on catching up on this place but just saw your friending, thank you. I'm on the US side of things, and involved in neo-monastic and Anglican/Episcopalian emerging movements over here. Currently living a year in community with the Episcopal Service Corps in Nebraska, love to get to hear more of your story at some point.
Mark: Somehow your request dropped out of sight due to problems getting my password recognized. Hopefully, we'll stay connected now and become good friends through the network.
Al though I had heard of Dorothy Day early on in my conversion to Catholisim, she was considered a "radical" in 1969, I did not "know" her until I read The Long Lonliness. I am now reading through her diaries, which have just recently been published. Please keep me in your prayers as I know that the Holy Spirit is calling me to follow "the way" of Dorothy Day; I'm just not exactly sure of the how.

I see that I am five hours behind on the time line. I'll have to keep that in mind for chating.
